Estonians are more than welcome for this years 2012 Nordics.

The place was decided today actually.

We will make an announcement next week regarding the location and hopefully some information
regarding suitable places to stay for the duration of the event.

Sirvisin veidi norrakate foorumit, võistluspaik saab olema mõned kilomeetrid Oslost lõunas ja mitte väga kaugel lennujaamast (Estonian Airi pilet praegu kohvriga reisides 98€)  [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

Location: Hulvik in Vestby. approx. 40 km south of Oslo and approx. 95 km for Gardermoen Airport.


Accommodation: We have looked at http://www.vestbyhotell.no  They have small cottages, apartments and a regular camping site for tents/RV's/campers. The prices are reasonable and are located close to the comp site.


Classes run: 2.2" Crawler Pro, 2.2" Crawler Sportsman (no DIG/4WS/MOA) will be run on Saturday.
                     Scale class(es) will be run on Sunday.
                     All classes will be run by the US RCCA rules.
                     It's yet to be determined which class(es) will be run in scale.


I will update the information in this thread as we make progress.

Just a bit of info on the comp site:

The surface is relatively smooth and HIGH grip.

We can set some pretty amazing courses with insane vertical climbs   

#1 preferred tires are Boss Claws (Pin tires) and slightly worn Rover or Sedona.

Brand new Rovers or Sedonas will have TOO much grip

Transport: Norwegian.no flies out of Helsinki to/from Gardermoen from NOK 598,-/€74.50 (flight DY1187/DY1198). We have arranged a Mini Bus with a capacity of 16 passangers to pick you up at the airport on Friday, transport you to the site where you are staying, to and from the comp site on Saturday/Sunday and back to the airport Sunday evening/night.
